Services
Grizzly Landscape & Construction runs six service lines out of one crew. That means the excavation, the drainage, the hardscape, the irrigation, the lighting and the planting are all planned against each other from the first walkthrough — not bolted together by separate trades who never met.
Whether you are starting from bare ground or fixing something that was never built right, the process is the same: we walk the property, tell you honestly what it needs, and give you a clear scope before anything is scheduled.
What We Do

01
Hardscaping, retaining walls, paver patios, walkways and outdoor living spaces. Most of the labour on a patio is the base underneath it — we excavate to depth, compact crushed rock in layers rather than all at once, and make sure water has somewhere to go beneath the surface. That is what decides whether it is still level in ten years.

02
System design, installation, repairs and water management. We size zones to the planting rather than the other way round, and cut drainage before the finish work goes in. Standing water, a lawn that never dries out, or runoff heading toward the foundation all get diagnosed before anything is dug.

03
Installation, repair and replacement of wood, stained and custom fences. Posts are set a few inches inside the line so nothing encroaches on the neighbour, and spacing and depth are chosen for ground that freezes and heaves through a wet Northwest winter.

05
Outdoor lighting design, patios, walkways, retaining walls and fire pits. Low-voltage runs are tidiest when they go in alongside the irrigation during a build, but a retrofit through existing beds is very doable if the landscape is already in.

06
Site preparation, utility trenching, grading and small-scale demolition, handled by our own crew rather than subcontracted out. It is the groundwork that sets up everything above it — get the grade and the base wrong and no amount of good finish work will save the project.

A yard is only worth building if people actually use it. We size patios for real furniture, put paths where people already walk, and light the routes that get used after dark — then build all of it on base that will not move.
Because one crew carries the project from excavation through to the last plant, nothing gets lost in a handoff. The person who cut the drainage is still on site when the pavers go down, and knows exactly what is underneath them.
A landscape is not finished when the crew leaves. Irrigation needs adjusting as planting fills in, beds need mulch, and the system needs blowing out before the first hard freeze or the repairs cost more than the winterisation would have.
We offer maintenance on what we build and on landscapes we did not install. Either way you get the same honesty: if repeatedly repairing something is costing more than replacing it properly, we will say so.

Where We Work
From our base in Lynnwood we cover thirty cities across both counties. The soil, the slopes and the permit rules change from one to the next, and knowing those differences is a large part of why a project runs on schedule instead of stalling at inspection.

How It Works
01
Send the form or call (425) 648-9443 and tell us what you are trying to solve. That tells us who needs to come look at the property, and when.
02
We walk the site with you, look at drainage, access and grade, and talk through what is realistic. You get a clear scope before any work is scheduled.
03
Our crew handles the project through to cleanup, and we stay reachable afterwards for maintenance or the next phase of the yard.
